In the past few years, along with liquid lipsticks & matte lip options, lip treatments have completely blown up. I’ve tried all natural remedies, funny shapes, & all kinds of other options on the way. I’m a huge Clinique fan so when I saw these adorable macaroons…I knew I needed them in my life! Pretty much since I started blogging- we’ve used EOS lip balms. & by “we” I mean my husband & I. They’re pretty much all over the house- nightstands, living room, kitchen, etc. & we’ve got a bunch! But since it is something we actually use up completely (always impressive!) whenever we see new scents we tend to pick them up. I spotted this trio walking around Kohl’s & snapped it up- keep reading to see more about the EOS 3-pk. Lip Balm Sphere Set – Limited Edition Holiday Trio below! [Read more…]
Every time It Cosmetics launches something new, I immediately scramble to get my hands on it. I’d say as far as brands go- I have the highest success rate with It Cosmetics when trying any products. From skincare to makeup to tools…they just have it down. I recently reviewed all of the new holiday sets coming to ULTA (check out my post here!) but now I’m thrilled to bring you some of the top products now available at Sephora! It Cosmetics has come so far. I began blogging about their products back when they were QVC exclusive– so this was just so exciting for me as both a consumer & a fan! [Read more…]

As fall seems to be quickly approaching, I’m really trying to enjoy my more summery products while I can! I’ve been flipping through magazines about fall fashion, reading emails about fall beauty, & fall is in every store I’ve stepped foot in. But it is August guys! While I too am excited about breaking out my comfy boots & sipping something without ice cubes, this summer has flown by because of the move so I’m determined to enjoy some of it! Some of the most summer-looking packaging to cross my desk this year is from Mwah- check out the details on these lip products below!
I’d like to think everyone has those products that take them down memory lane. Many moons ago I purchased a Smith’s at the checkout counter at Sephora. I remember I was specifically at the Downtown Disney location in California & there was some kind of special where I needed to spend 5 more dollars. Back then…this was likely the most affordable thing in all of Sephora so it was meant to be & I’ve been enjoying the various flavors ever since! This year they broke out a new one- Rosebud SalveRose & Mandarin…& I was right on top of it! [Read more…]
Lip products are likely the beauty item I change up the most. I separated all of these into colors as opposed to formulas because I wear similar shades throughout the year- but often in very different tones & levels of brightness! Glossybox has quickly become one of my favorite subscriptions & I definitely look forward to unwrapping it every month! While a bit more expensive- Glossybox tends to offer larger sizes, high end brands, & often many full sizes as well. It is a hit.

This Glossybox is way above & beyond. The packaging is completely different from my usual sleek, pink box. This month for their holiday edition you see a gorgeous red velvet etched box with gold detailing. I love this change up- very cold weather & holiday-esque. [Read more…]
I didn’t grow up on Clinique products but they have certainly grown on me over the years. Since finding my absolute favorite moisturizer in their brand I’ve started branching out through their skincare & into makeup. Slowly but surely I knew I would make my way to the cult favorite shade Black Honey in some form…& today I’m sharing with you quite a few! After reading a bit about the history of the specific shade I thought a linkup with other beauty lovers would be amazing- different looks & different ages all showing how we wear Clinique’s Black Honey. Since this shade is supposed to be flattering on everyone I thought we would put it to the test!
For a bit of background, Clinique’s Black Honey is their best selling shade of their Almost Lipstick line ever. In fact, Clinique ships one tube of this lipstick every 2 minutes. EVERY 2 minutes. There is a lot of history behind this shade but also a good bit of logical science. Black Honey has remained a best-selling shade for the past decade but was actually released first in 1971. The shade was added to the Clinique Almost Lipstick range in 1989 (the year I was born, were we meant to be or what?) & has spanned generations of women. The color itself is comprised of red, blue, yellow, & orange pigments that mix in a sheer base despite the deep shade you see in the tube. Each woman should have her very own custom color straight from the tube- for every age & ethnicity. With well over 1,000 reviews on Makeup Alley I just had to see why this shade has endured.
