In the past few years, along with liquid lipsticks & matte lip options, lip treatments have completely blown up. I’ve tried all natural remedies, funny shapes, & all kinds of other options on the way. I’m a huge Clinique fan so when I saw these adorable macaroons…I knew I needed them in my life! Keep reading to check out my thoughts on the Clinique Sweet Pots Sugar Scrub & Lip Balms in Candied Cassis, Orange Blossom, Sweet Velvet, & Sweet Rose!
Achieve soft, kissable lips with this two-in-one lip scrub and lip balm. It treats lips to a sugar-smoothing scrub on one side and a sheer, tinted moisturizing balm on the other. Use the lip scrub to exfoliate and condition skin—it removes dead skin cells and dry flakes to prep lips for lip balm application. Then smooth on the lip balm to comfort, nourish, and sooth dry lips with lasting moisturization while giving them an ultra-sheer tint.

So what do I think? I think these are incredibly clever! If you have issues with dry lips (ahem…like me) then you’ve likely tried to travel with treatments before. I have some horror stories along those lines- things exploding in my purse, leaking, & my very favorite…melting in the middle of winter? If you’ve been looking for a treatment that is incredibly travel-friendly then I definitely recommend this one.
The balm side is very smooth. Although it appears thin- it isn’t TOO thin. The color is also very demure so if you were thinking this would be heavily tinted- nope! It is super sheer but also really comfortable. The scrub side isn’t overly harsh & you do need to swirl a bit to get past the balmy top. It is slightly sweet but again, like the balm, not scented or flavored. Because these are macaroons I was super surprised by that! I do hope they release some with scents/flavors in the future!
Have you tried this scrumptious macaroons yet? Is your favorite lip treatment travel friendly? What do you look for in a good lip scrub or treatment?
